I have a baccalaureate degree in Forensic Chemistry, out of Sac State, and have previously been employed in the environmental science industry . I'm proud to say that since the beginning of this year, I've been employed as a Lab Assistant with the UC Davis Genome Center - Metabolomics, primarily working out of the Sacramento satellite lab. My main responsibilities are sample preparation and extraction. I now get the opportunity to learn about and help maintain the instruments. It is an honor and pleasure to be able to work in this new and inviting environment and I hope to learn more as the year(s) go forward.
