...is a coprocessor card for molecular dynamics developed by the japanese RIKEN and the american IBM. It is used to built TeraFLOP and PetaFLOP Computers. A single commercial available PCI card (10-15k$) is up to 5 times faster than a Xeon 3 GHz. In the case of molecular mechanics calulation the card accelerates van der Waals (vdW) and Coulomb energy calculations.
