The unique informatics challenge to sharing metabolomics information is being addressed by multiple research groups.  This workshop will bring together international groups of biologists, chemists, engineers and bioinformatics experts to discuss the development of informatics standards and shared resources in this emerging field.

The formation of the Metabolomics Society represents a logical progression of the accelerating interest in metabolomics in the US and internationally. <goup picture taken at the meeting>

At the ASMS converence in San Antonio there are four talks given by members of the Fiehn Lab. <more information>

Mass Spectrometry is the key method to analyze complex mixtures with respect to both identification and quantification of compounds, such as needed in metabolomics and proteomics. This minisymposium is meant to give a glimpse on current techniques and applications. It further serves as a search symposium for a postdoctoral research position in the Fiehn laboratory. <more information>
